Building Complex Subsystem
The building complex subsystem is a technical extension of the cable lines from one of the buildings to the communication equipment in the other buildings in the complex, thus providing the possibility of signal connections between the buildings.
Equipment Room Subsystem
The equipment room subsystem is the central unit of the overall wiring system and the heart of structured cabling, managing vertical cables and building block feeds, with components including cables, connectors and associated support hardware.
Work Area Subsystem
The work area subsystem, also known as the service area subsystem, is a separate area where terminal equipment needs to be set up. It consists of connection cables and adapters that extend from the information socket to the workstation equipment.
Horizontal Cabling Subsystem
Horizontal cabling is primarily responsible for extending cables from the management subsystem's patch panels from the trunk subsystem to the information outlet locations, which are generally on the same floor.
Management Subsystem
The management room subsystem is located at the intersection of the horizontal and vertical subsystems, and it manages the horizontal and vertical subsystems.
Vertical Trunking Subsystem
The vertical trunking subsystem provides important copper or fiber optic lines in the building, generally it is used as a voice or data trunk line to provide multiple connection paths between equipment and cabling cabinets located on different floors.
